SUBSIDIARIES As at 30 June 2023, the University’s subsidiaries were as follows: (i) Centennial College The College is incorporated in Hong Kong and is limited by guarantee. The College is registered as an Approved Post Secondary College under the Post Secondary Colleges Ordinance (Cap.320). It offers full time self-financed, 4-year Bachelor Degree programmes validated by the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications (HKCAAVQ). The College has completed the teach-out in June 2022. (ii) H.K. Hong Kong Innovation Center Ltd The Company is incorporated in Israel and is limited by shares. Its principal activity is academic collaboration with Israeli Universities and industry and community engagement in Israel. (iii) HKU Innovation Holdings Limited The Company is incorporated in Hong Kong and is limited by guarantee. Its principal activity is to undertake investment holding. (iv) HKU School of Professional and Continuing Education The Company is incorporated in Hong Kong and is limited by guarantee. Its principal activities are to provide quality professional and continuing education programmes. (v) HKU-Shenzhen Institute of Research and Innovation The Institute is an institutional organisation incorporated in Mainland China. Its principal activities are to carry out research, technology transfer and provide consultancy services on technology development. (vi) HKU SPACE (Beijing) Consulting Services Limited The Company is incorporated in Mainland China with limited liability. Its principal activities are provision of commercial advisory services, management skills training, brand and business planning. (vii) HKU SPACE Qianhai Education Consulting Services (Shenzhen) Company Limited The Company is incorporated in Mainland China with limited liability. Its principal activities are provision of education information consultation, business consulting services, management skills training, brand and corporate planning, business management consulting, education technology research and development, skills consulting, study abroad consulting services, corporate marketing planning, cultural exchange activity planning.
