SUBSIDIARIES 附屬公司 As at 30 June 2019, the University’s principal subsidiaries were as follows: (i) Bioworld Investment Limited The Company is incorporated in British Virgin Islands and is limited by shares. Its principal activity is to undertake investment holding. (ii) Centennial College The College is incorporated in Hong Kong and is limited by guarantee. The College is registered as an Approved Post Secondary College under the Post Secondary Colleges Ordinance (Cap.320). It offers full time self-financed, 4-year Bachelor Degree programmes validated by the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications (HKCAAVQ). (iii) HKU Enterprises Limited The Company is incorporated in the British Virgin Islands and is limited by shares. Its principal activity is to undertake investment holding. (iv) HKU CyberSPACE Limited The Company is incorporated in Hong Kong and is limited by shares. Its principal activity is provision of e-education services. (v) HKU School of Professional and Continuing Education The Company is incorporated in Hong Kong and is limited by guarantee. Its principal activities are to provide quality professional and continuing education programmes. (vi) HKU-Shenzhen Institute of Research and Innovation The Institute is an institutional organization incorporated in The People’s Republic of China. Its principal activities are to carry out research, technology transfer and provide consultancy services on technology development. (vii)HKU SPACE (Beijing) Consulting Services Limited The Company is incorporated in The People’s Republic of China with limited liability. Its principal activities are provision of education information consultation, business consulting services, management skills training, brand and corporate planning, business management consulting, education technology research and development, skills consulting, study abroad consulting services, corporate marketing planning, cultural exchange activity planning. (ix) HKU-Zhej iang Inst i tute of Research and Innovation The Institute is an institutional organization incorporated in The People’s Republic of China. Its principal activities are to carry out research, technology transfer and provide consultancy services on technology development. (x) Poon Kam Kai Institute of Management The Company is incorporated in Hong Kong and is limited by guarantee. Its principal activities are to provide executive education and advisory services. However, the Company had ceased trading in 2013 and has become a dormant company since then. (xi) TCM Investment Limited The Company is incorporated in the British Virgin Islands and is limited by shares. Its principal activity is to undertake investment holding. (xii) The University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen) Limited The Company is incorporated in Hong Kong and is limited by guarantee. Its principal activity is investment holding. (xiii) The University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen) Teaching Hospital Limited The Company is incorporated in Hong Kong and is limited by guarantee. Its principal activity is to provide medical and clinical consultancy services. (viii) 前海港大思培教育諮詢（深圳） 有限公司 該公司為一間於中華人民共和國註 冊成立之有限責任公司，其主要業 務為提供教育信息諮詢、商業諮詢 服務、管理技術培訓、品牌及企業 策劃、企業管理諮詢、教育科技的 技術研發、技術諮詢、出國留學諮 詢服務、企業營銷策劃及文化交流 活動策劃。 (ix) 香港大學浙江科學技術研究院 該研究院為一間於中華人民共和國 註冊成立之民辦非企業單位。其主 要業務為研發、技術轉移及提供科 技信息的顧問服務。 (x) Poon Kam Kai Institute of Management 該公司為一間於香港註冊成立之有 限擔保公司，其主要業務為提供行 政管理教育及顧問服務。但在二零 一三年間，該公司已停止其一切業 務並期後成為一間不活躍公司。 (xi) TCM Investment Limited 該公司為一間於英屬處女群島註冊 成立之股份有限公司，其主要業務 為投資控股。 (xii) 香港大學（深圳）有限公司 該公司為一間於香港註冊成立之有 限擔保公司，其主要業務為投資控 股。 (xiii) 香港大學（深圳）教學醫院有限 公司 該公司為一間於香港註冊成立之有 限擔保公司，其主要業務為提供醫 療顧問服務。
